We cordially invite you and your friends to the opening reception of this year’s exhibition »FERMENTE - positions of young art« on Saturday, July 31st 2010, starting at 5 pm at maerzgalerie in Leipzig. Once a year the maerzgalerie Leipzig / Berlin takes time to reflect upon how close the present generation approaches the paradigms of contemporary art - or how far it distances itself. As well as how deeply they are rooted in establishment - or at conflict with it. At most it consists of unconnected reference points. This year we found five. They come from different geographical points together in the maerzgalerie where meanwhile their arts perspectives disperse apart in different directions. Although their methods have no common formulations the only agreement they have is that thought can be materialized through color. |
