Thursday, May 1, 2008 from 11am to 9pm we will open Ritchie Riediger´s solo exhibition.
On the occasion of the gallery walkabout in Leipzig, the maerzgalerie presents the exhibition „188054478000,000 sec.“, Ritchie Riediger’s cycle of cross-referenced installations and objects.
In this cvcle, Riediger drafts a drastic setting of the current conditio humana: the perfect surfaces, the glittering light and the omnipresent promises of an arranged illusory world meet individuals whose real experience has less and less to counter these virtual and seemingly overpowering settings.
